Admission Terms and Conditions


Savoy would always like to ensure where possible that all our guests have a good time, but as such we need to ensure that you are aware that the purchase of a ticket comes with the following terms:




Tickets


1. The purchase of a ticket entitles the bearer access (subject to the appropriate age restrictions) to the performance named at the stated time and date and for a certain row and seat number. The ticket does not entitle the bearer to access at any other time.


2. You must not resell or offer for resale any tickets (whether at a premium or otherwise) or use tickets for advertising or promotions or for any other trade purposes. If you resell or offer for resale any tickets, then they will be invalid.


3. It is your responsibility to check your tickets as we are under no obligation to rectify mistakes after purchase of tickets. We are not obliged to replace lost or stolen tickets.


Admission


1. Licensing laws require us to refuse admission to a film performance to anyone who in the opinion of the Duty Manager is below or appears to be below the minimum age required by the relevant classification of the British Board of Film Classification or local authority. Proof of age may be required (see ID POLICY).


2. Savoy reserves the right to refuse admission to or to require to leave the premises (without providing a refund) anyone:-


Who appears to be drunk, otherwise intoxicated or appears to be behaving in an agressive or anti-social way. Please note that our staff have the right to feel safe at work and should not therefore become the target of abuse or agression. CCTV is in operation for the purpose of crime prevention.


Who is, or appears to be, smoking on the premises


Who is, or appears to be, vaping on the premises


Who is, or appears to be, taking drugs on the premises


Who is, or appears to be, carrying weapons or other illegal or dangerous substances. Anyone found to be carrying, or thought to be carrying any of these will be required to leave immediately and will be reported to the Police.


Who uses cameras, mobile phones or other recording equipment to record all or part of the presentation. We reserve the right to carry out random bag checks for this purpose.


3. It is an offence to make a recording of a film and distribute it in a way that contravenes the rights of the copyright owner. Anyone making such a recording, or live-streaming, may be arrested and prosecuted.


4. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to customer's property however caused.


5. The Duty Manager has the right to refuse entry to any person at any time and will be under no obligation to provide a reason to that person.


Admission - our responsibility


We will always try to ensure that performances take place in accordance with the advertised programme. However, we reserve the right to cancel a performance, vary the time of an exhibition or substitute an alternative film if this becomes necessary because of circumstances beyond our control.


If this happens we will, at our discretion, refund the cost of the ticket or issue another ticket for the same film on an alternative occasion. The Cinema Duty Manager will have the sole discretion as to the most appropriate course of action.


Please do not spoil the enjoyment of others


1. Please ensure that mobile phones and other devices are set not to ring during performances and that the screens are kept off throughout the show.


2. Guide and Hearing dogs are welcome but other animals are not permitted on the premises.


3. We reserve the right to delay or refuse the admittance of latecomers.


We reserve the right to amend or cancel any of these terms and conditions at any time without notice.


Savoy accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or appropriateness of any infomation displayed or broadcast on the premises by a third party.


Nothing in these Terms affects your Statutory rights as a consumer or excludes or limits our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or for any other liability which we cannot exclude or limit under law but otherwise our liability if you purchase a ticket shall be limited to the price paid by you for it.
